Range meets dynamics: the Renault Austral with H&R lowering springs

The range-champion in the mid-size SUV segment? The new Renault Austral sets a clear mark with its efficient hybrid technology, covering over 1,000 kilometres on a single tank of fuel in tests. Renault has also revised the suspension for the facelift version, but the H&R engineers have once again lent a hand and provided a further upgrade with a lowering kit.

Thanks to the precise fine-tuning of the spring elements to the standard shock absorbers, H&R lowering springs ensure sporty, dynamic handling. This includes reduced body roll and more direct steering response. Nevertheless, driving comfort remains unrestricted for long distances and the payload remains at standard level.

Optional H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in either silver or black anodised, they allow standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with millimetre precision to the fender edges.

If leased vehicles need to be returned in their original condition, all H&R products can be removed without leaving any traces.

All H&R products are ‘Made in Germany’ and always come with the necessary part approvals.
